WRAP is a climate action NGO working around the globe to tackle the causes of the climate crisis and give the planet a sustainable future. We were established in the UK in 2000; we now work in 40+ countries.

We shouldn’t waste our natural resources. Everything we use should be re-used and recycled. Working around the globe with governments, businesses, and citizens, WRAP’s mission is to make the world a more sustainable place. We will help you, challenge you, and drive change together. Tackling the entire system

Tackling a single part of an issue can just move the problem elsewhere. We take a holistic approach, consider the whole system and create solutions that work together.

For example, WRAP Cymru’s Market Development Programme is in place to increase both the supply of, and demand for, products containing recycled content in Wales. We support the use of recycled material in manufacturing via the Circular Economy Fund and supply chain projects, and we work with the public sector to increase the procurement of sustainable goods.

Operating in parallel is our Collaborative Change Programme, which assists Welsh local authorities to meet their statutory recycling targets. This is supplemented by our Wales Recycles campaign, which encourages citizens to adopt positive recycling behaviours.
