The Benefits of Reuse tool is an Excel-based model to estimate economic, environmental, and social indicators for re-use compared to other disposal routes. This can be used to measure the impacts of existing reuse schemes, model the potential benefits of reuse, and understand the trade-offs between different impacts of re-use.

The tool is intended to help support greater collaboration between the many businesses that make up Wales’ wood sector.

Funded by the Welsh Government, WRAP has developed this user-friendly Circular Materials Mapping Tool for Wales – a useful resource for Welsh stakeholders across the plastics, paper, and wood value chains.

It provides an interactive, visual representation of the extent of Wales’ plastics, paper, and wood sectors, plotting business locations and helping to identify where there are clusters.

Welsh Government and WRAP Cymru realise that many organisations are facing significant challenges resulting from COVID-19. In response, we have implemented changes to the £6.5million Circular Economy Fund, which are designed to support even more organisations and more quickly.
