Working with the public sector in Wales
The Welsh Government has an ambition to make Wales’ public sector carbon neutral by 2030.
WRAP Cymru is contributing to this by supporting Welsh local authorities to adopt the most efficient and cost-effective recycling services through the Collaborative Change Programme, and by helping Wales’ wider public sector to procure more sustainably. This includes the prioritisation of recycled, re-used and re-manufactured content in products purchased, as per the Welsh Government’s 'Beyond recycling' strategy.
