‘Be Mighty. Recycle.’ is Wales’ largest and most ambitious recycling campaign, contributing to Welsh Government’s goal of becoming a zero-waste nation by 2050 and boosting Wales to no.1 in the world for recycling.

Food waste is where we can make the mightiest impact.

Whilst Wales is one of the world’s top recycling nations, a quarter of the average rubbish bin is still made up of food waste – equivalent to filling 3,300 double-decker buses every year. Shockingly, a massive 80% of that could have been eaten costing the average household £49 per month.

“Be Mighty. Recycle: Campaign Burst 3” will educate and empower people in Wales to save money by making their food go further, whilst helping to create renewable energy by recycling what can’t be eaten.
