Wales Recycles: Be Mighty. Recycle. March 2025 Campaign Assets

Get ready for the springtime ‘Be Mighty. Recycle.’ campaign.

Launching on Friday 28 February, just ahead of St David’s Day, the ‘Be Mighty. Recycle.’ Spring 2025 campaign is packed with engaging assets and activities designed to align with the key celebrations and events throughout March. The campaign will run until Sunday 23 March, with the final week coinciding with Food Waste Action Week (17-23 March).

The ‘Be Mighty. Recycle.’ campaign is Wales’ biggest ever collective drive to boost Wales to No.1 in the world for recycling. It contributes to Welsh Government’s targets to reduce food waste and increase recycling and is helping to pave the way towards becoming a zero-waste nation by 2050.

Food waste is where we can make the mightiest impact: A quarter of the average rubbish bin is still made up of food and a massive 80% of that could have been eaten, costing the average 4-person household £84 per month.

This campaign will empower and inspire young adults and families in Wales to use all food they buy so that nothing gets wasted, saving them time and money, whilst recycling the bits that can’t be eaten to help create renewable energy. It’s the top action they can take to get Wales to No.1!
