Between 2019 - 2022, WRAP has worked in collaboration with more than 20 partner organisations, including Welsh businesses and academic institutions, to deliver four supply chain projects.
The following case studies capture the barriers and learnings from the trials that were funded by Welsh Government.
The case studies have been developed to give manufacturers in Wales and beyond the confidence to explore ways to increase the use of recycled content in their products. The document contains an overview of each project, challenges encountered and how the project teams overcame them. Whilst not every trial resulted in a market-ready product, primarily due to challenging operating conditions created by the COVID 19 pandemic, each culminated in important learnings that will continue to push the market forward.
