The demonstrations below show you how to get the information you need from the Materials Map.
Plastics and Paper Tonnages
Data is available only for waste sites where we have known data about the amount of waste they process. This data has either been provided directly by the company, or where this was not available, from waste return data submitted to Natural Resources Wales.
Useful functions include:
- You can filter by region under the “select region” box on the map e.g. South East Wales.
- You can filter by site type; the tonnages of waste processed by each site are illustrated by the size of the circle symbols.
- We are aware that there are sites for which no waste data is available, it may be helpful to remove these sites by toggling the known/unknown tonnage buttons.
Use the information within the Circular Materials Map to create a plastics and paper circular economy in Wales.
